Emily Russell

Emily Russell (she/her) is a MA candidate in the Department of English at the University of Kentucky. Her research and writing interests include early modern literature, with a special focus on early modern women writers and gender and sexuality studies. She is particularly interested in the intersections of race and gender in the writings of early modern women writers, as well as the ways their works engage with and challenge the literary and cultural conventions of their time.
