Samantha Ratcliffe is a poet and musician originally from Eastern Kentucky. Previously, Ratcliffe taught English and creative writing to high school juniors and seniors for 4+ years in Frankfort, KY. She stays active in the arts community through her writing workshop, Hill Writers: A Southern Writers' Collective, where she offers free monthly prompts and writing events. Ratcliffe also works as a volunteer senior editor for Broadstone Books. In the summer of 2024, Ratcliffe attended the Appalachian Writers' Workshop and was honored to be published in the first edition of their literary magazine, Untelling. She was celebrated as the July feature poet for Poetry @ The Table and Teen Howl 2.0. She has been a singer/songwriter for over a decade and has performed in many venues across Kentucky.
