Michael Bowen

Michael is a first year MA candidate in the University of Kentucky's Literature and Film program. Originally from Wilkes County, Georgia, where he worked as a rural newspaper publisher for almost a year, Michael holds a Bachelor's Degree in English with a Concentration in Creative Writing from Truett-McConnell University. He intends to study the links between the British Romantic Writers of the 18th and 19th Centuries and the Southern Writers of the 20th Century with a focus on the Southern Agrarians. Michael is a Graduate Consultant for the Robert E. Hemenway Writing Center.
