Carter Skaggs is a first year MFA candidate hailing from the Bluegrass. A storyteller at heart, Carter is a poet, photographer and journalist. Her love for imagery, lyricism and stories blend themselves into her work. She is interested in topics like faith, her own role within her family as a historian, Kentucky heritage and the local flora.
