Jordan Rucci is a PhD student in the department of English. She received her BA in English from Kenyon College (2016), and an MA in English from George Washington University (2019). Prior to teaching in the WRD program at UK, she spent four years teaching Introductory College Composition at Columbus State Community College in Columbus, Ohio. 

Jordan is interested in ideas of citizenship and national identity in American literature across the long 20th century. She is also interested in Contemporary Pop Culture and Fiction. 

In her free time, she enjoys knitting, cooking, and spending time with her husband and two cats, Yennefer and Ciri.
