Gwendolyn Akers

Gwendolyn Akers is a first-year MA student whose research interests include utilizing archive materials in relation to undiscovered writers in the Appalachian region and, alternatively, using these materials to find nuances in more established writers. She holds a BA in English Education from Morehead State University and her research has been published in the Kentucky Literacy Journal. She currently is a consultant for the Robert E. Hemingway Writing Center.
