Cayenne (she/her) is a second-year M.F.A. Candidate in Fiction. Being originally from the Philippines, she and her family moved to Kentucky fairly recently, this experience bleeding into her work as she aims to discuss the nuances of cultural adjustment and immigration in her fiction writing. Having finished her undergraduate degree in Music Performance, she also writes narratives that distill music into literary elements to weave themselves in. She is also known to experiment with speculative fiction and enjoy non-traditional literature.
