Azhané is a poet and researcher whose work examines Blackness and mental illness, with particular attention to how the Black body occupies and navigates space under modern-day white supremacy. Combining her background in English and Sociology, she explores how cultural expression, literature, and public discourse reveal the psychological and spatial dimensions of racialized life. Her writing critically engages with the lived realities of Black existence, centering marginalized voices while interrogating the power structures that seek to contain them.
