Peter Kalliney
Humanities Research Director
William J. and Nina B. Tuggle Chair in English

My scholarly interests include twentieth-century literature, cultural institutions, and the relationship between intellectual history and political movements. I recently finished a book on the cold war and decolonization, with a special emphasis on African, British, and Caribbean literature. I am now working on a large editorial project called Anticolonial Thought and Writing: Manifestos and other Primary Documents with Harris Feinsod (https://english.jhu.edu/directory/harris-feinsod/) and Leah Feldman (https://complit.uchicago.edu/faculty/feldman).
