Klara Kinman
MA Candidate

Klara (she/her) is a MA candidate in the department of English. She is originally from Louisville, Kentucky and holds a Bachelor of Arts in English from Asbury University. Klara's research interests include Black literature, gender studies, and modern and contemporary poetry. Her creative work has been published in Solum Journal Volume IV, and her paper "Loving Herself, Regardless: How Alice Walker and Lucille Clifton Reclaim Black Female Embodiment" was awarded first place in Asbury University's 2025 SEARCH symposium.
