Please join the Ecocriticism Reading Group for a Zoom Q&A event with Nicole Seymour, on her book Bad Environmentalism: Irony and Irreverence in the Ecological Age (U Minnesota, 2018). Nicole Seymour is Professor of English at California State University Fullerton and works at the intersection of literary studies and environmental humanities. Her first book, Strange Futures: Futurity, Empathy, and the Queer Ecological Imagination (U Illinois, 2013), is a foundational text in queer ecologies, and won the ASLE Ecocriticism Book Award.
The Q&A will take place on Friday, September 8, at 1:00 PM EST. The event will be a hybrid Zoom/In-person event.
