December 7, 2011 - The College of Arts & Sciences and Department of English at the University of Kentucky celebrated Nikky Finney's 2011 National Book Award in Poetry for her recent work, “Head Off & Split.” The reception was held at the Lyric Theater in Lexington, KY. “Head Off & Split” was published by Northwestern University Press in February of this year, and Finney has been touring with the book since late winter.
